The lighter and thinner the skin, the more the pigment shows and the more it darkens as it heals. The darker the skin, the more saturation it needs to stay visible.
Cool
Cool pigments have green, olive or grey at their base. They hold back the red in the skin and stay brown as they heal. Overdone on warm skin, they turn ashy.
